Located inside the Cobb’s Block Central, Cobb’s Clothing is one of Sylvan Lake’s longest running businesses with over 35 years history in the community. First started as Cobb’s Dry Goods, many of Sylvan Lake’s historic families recall the store as being the spot to catch up on swimsuit and summer-wear shopping. Generations later, Cobb’s Clothing is still providing locals and tourists with the latest trends while still maintaining a local style. As a local business, Cobb’s Clothing loves to get involved with the Sylvan Lake community, as well as meet tourists who are looking to shop. We’d love to see you stop by!

Covid-19 Return Policy — Cobb’s Clothing

The health of our customers and staff is of the highest importance to us. In order to protect you while in the store our team will wear a mask while you are in the store, mini hand sanitizers are available for you to use in-store and take home with you when you leave. (perfect size for your purse). We have increased our cleaning schedules with dressing rooms, counter, and debit machines being cleaned after every customer. Customers are welcome to try clothes on in-store however are asked to use hand sanitizer prior to doing so. The store receives a thorough cleaning daily including floors, door handles, and commonly touched items to help prevent the chances of transfer. Staff are not permitted to work if they are feeling ill and we request all customers to avoid shopping if showing any symptoms of COVID-19.

In order to restrict outside contact with the clothing, we are unable to accept returns for items purchased in the store. Customers are encouraged to try clothing on prior to purchase. Since online purchases do not allow for trying items on, we have implemented the following return policy for online purchases only.

Please look over your order as soon as it is received. If you think that you’ve gotten a defective item, contact our customer service team within 3 business days of receipt of your order. If you were sent incorrect items or are missing items from your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible so we can sort out the problem!

Online Returns Only

  • All online returns will be held in quarantine for a minimum of 48 hours before processing.
  • If you would like to return a shipped item for a refund, please contact us at cobbsclothingsl@gmail.com and we will inform you as to how to proceed. Please do not ship items back without contacting us first. If items are sent back past the return policy period, the customer is responsible for return postage.
  • Online returns will be issued refunds in the form of a gift card, we are unable to offer cash refunds.
  • We must receive your return within 15 days of your online order date to be eligible for a refund.
  • For returned items past the 15 day return period, a 25% restocking fee will be subtracted from the store credit given. The 15 days starts from the day the online order was received by the customer. Returns older than 20 days will be rejected, and you will be contacted to have them shipped back to you at your expense.
  • Online returns must be scent-free, unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached. Please include your package slip with the return.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable.
  • All items sent back for return are subject to a full inspection upon delivery. Cobbs Clothing reserves the right to decline a return of any merchandise that does not meet the above return requirements.

Hassle-Free Online Returns

We’ve worked really hard to try and make the returns process as simple as we can to keep you from pulling your hair out (trust us, we’ve been there!). We’ve spelled out the process below so that you’ll know just what to expect.

  • All we need you to do is fill out the return form included with your order and slip it into the package with your original receipt and the item you are returning. We’ll take it from there! Don’t forget that your original shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • Please allow 5 to 7 business days for your gift card to be issued via email. The automated email will be sent to the email address used to place the order.

Defective Items

Although we make sure to check all merchandise for defects and damage before shipment, it is the customer’s responsibility to check the product upon delivery to ensure it is free of defects and damages.

  • All defective merchandise must be reported within 3 days of receiving. Merchandise that has been washed cannot be accepted for store credit.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time. Please return the item you do not wish to keep and place a new order for the desired item at www.cobbsclothing.com.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Please note that when you place an order with Cobb’s Clothing, the liability is between you and Canada Post. We do not make any exceptions to this policy.

We are always happy to replace items that aren’t marked as delivered but once the package has been scanned as delivered we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package has not arrived please try the following steps:

  • Confirm that the shipping address you entered in is correct.
  • Visit your local Canada Post office with tracking handy to see where the mailman dropped off your package
  • Check with neighbors to see if your package got dropped off next door.
  • Sometimes Canada Post updates tracking information as “delivered” a few hours or even days earlier than the actual delivery. Please wait at least 48 hours to see if the package turns up.

If an order is returned to us because it was not claimed by you, refused by you, or due to a delivery attempt to a wrong address, we will refund the merchandise minus the shipping fees charged by Canada Post.  If you would like the order shipped again, you will be responsible for shipping fees via Canada Post.

Warranty

Cobbs Clothing does not manufacture the clothing that we sell.

  • Items that have been washed, soiled OR items with Tags removed are NOT available for replacement, repair or return.
  • Please email cobbsclothingsl@gmail.com for any issues.

Shipping

At this time we ship within Canada only.

 

  • Standard shipping within Canada for flat rate of $15
  • All Canadian orders over $200 ship for FREE.
  • Make sure you are shipping to a secure location. We are not responsible for stolen packages.
  • You are responsible for entering the correct delivery address for your package. Any returned packages will be subject to returned shipping fees.
  • All orders are processed within 1-4 days.
  • To pickup in-store, please choose “pickup in-store” during checkout and bring in your confirmation receipt. There is no shipping fee for in-store pick up.
  • All prices shown are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
  • Please remember that delivery time does not include Sundays or holidays.

How do I change or cancel my order?

If you need to make any changes to your order, please email us immediately at cobbsclothingsl@gmail.com or call us at 403-887-2727 immediately after making your purchase. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm Mountain Time.
